The Best Of What I’ve Learned From The Best Man I Know!
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads who are reading this! I can honestly say that I wouldn’t be half the man I am today without my father’s love, support, guidance and friendship.
In honor of my papa and all the fathers out there, I’m going to share some of the amazing lessons I’ve learned from my dad. The first of those is to keep things simple, so I’m going to attempt to pass on the nuggets of wisdom in as few words as possible ;)
Here’s some of the best of what I’ve learned from the best man I know:
~ Life is choices. Choose wisely and own the consequences of your choices.
~ The winner of souls is wise. Lead by example.
~ A man is as good as his word.
~ Give generously. And then give some more.
~ A smile is worth a thousand words. Be the light.
~ Kindness is king.
~ Humility is one of the greatest measures of true strength.
~ Faith is everything. Live passionately and wholeheartedly for what you believe in.
~ Learn to accept the things you cannot change.
~ Know when to let go.
~ Just do it. Less talk, more action.
~ Life is so good. Cherish the moments and express your gratitude often.
I’m so grateful and blessed to have such an amazing man to call Dad. Of all the lessons he’s taught me, the greatest gift he has given me is the ability to trust and believe in myself. When I’m faced with difficult decisions, challenges or crises, my dad’s guidance has always been to look within for the answer. Time and time again, he would say to me: “Christopher, you may struggle and go back and forth. And knowing you, you will leave no stone unturned, but I know you will come to what’s right for you in the end.”
Thank you Dad! This one’s for you!
Much love,
Chris
